In case something like meta:Extended template syntax (see Bugzilla #364) is implemented this template should be merged with Template:Infobox German district noregbez. The variables regierungsbezirk (and additionally region) then should be optional. Some districts also use former regierungsbezirk in case the Regierungsbezirk was recently dissolved. As long as no such feature exists changes in the infobox design need to be made to both templates. andy 11:44, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The captions to the map image (Map of {{{state}}} highlighting the district {{{name}}}) are not working. Can somebody fix this? Gene Nygaard 16:18, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
