This is derived from Template:Infobox UK station and works similar, with a few Germany-specific additions.

The following parameters can be set:

  logo=                          currently unused
  name=                          Station name
  other_name=                    Any other names (former names? See Berlin Ostbahnhof)
  image=                         Image of the station, using [[Image:YourImageHere.jpg|200px|Your station]] for syntax
  caption=                       Image caption
  state=                         State of Germany the station is located in.
  locale=                        Kreis or kreisfreie Stadt if using borough=, elsewhile use for town
  borough=                       For stations that are in a subdivision of a larger municipality.
  street=                        Street or postal address. Use <br /> tag to start a new line.
  ibnr=                          This is the IBNR code of the station. Can be found in the DB category list
                                 or on www.ibnr.de.vu - use 5-digit codes (i.e. Aachen Hbf is 00001). Currently not shown
                                 to the public, might be used later to give a deep link to DB's timetable service.
  ds100=                         DS100 code. List of Deutsche Bahn station abbreviations.
  type=                          Type of the station, Hp, Bf et cetera. List is at Railway station types of   Germany.
  category=                      DB Station & Service category from 1 to 6. See German railway station categories 
                                 for links to DB PDF (also contains codes for the code= variable.)
  code=                          Station code as assigned by Station&Service.
  platforms=                     Platforms in use.
  exits=                         Annual exit and entry figures

These go under the "History" header:

  start=                         Station opening date
  years1= ... years8=            Years for event texts
  events1= ... events8=          Free-form event texts

Of these parameters, name=, local= and ds100= are mandatory. All others are optional. --doco () 17:01, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
