Here is a list of variables that you need to fill in:
- type: either "MO" (Missouri routes) or "Supp" (SSRs), no quotes
- sign_image: DO NOT USE, only for routeboxes that haven't been converted to the new system yet
- article_route: The route number (example "5" without quotes)
- alternate_name: Another name the route is referred to for its entire length
- name_notes: Any miscellanea about a particular route
- established: The year when the route was signed and commissioned into service
- decommissioned: The year when the route was decommissioned (do not use when the route is active)
- length_mi: How long the route is
- length_round: Only use if there are one or more decimal places in the mileage (if there are two decimal places, specify 2)
- length_ref: A citation of where the length comes from (with <ref></ref> tags
- length_notes: Any miscellanea about the length
- map: A map, if available, without wiki markup
- direction_a: West or South in accordance with WP:USRD/INNA
- terminus_a: The western or southern terminus of the route
- junctions: A <br> delimited list of major junctions along the route (limit 10)
- direction_b: East or North in accordance with WP:USRD/INNA
- terminus_b: The eastern or northern terminus of the route
- counties: A comma-delimited list of the counties the route passes through
- cities: A comma-delimited list of the cities/towns the route passes through
- previous_type: The type of route that comes before the current one (MO, US, Interstate)
- previous_route: The route number that comes before the current one (3 is before 5)
- next_type: The type of route that comes after the current one (MO, US, Interstate)
- next_route: The route number that comes after the current one (6 is after 5)
- browse: Additional browse lines
- commons: use to add a link to an image gallery or category on Wikimedia Commons, usage should be gallery, category, or left blank/omitted.
Please return to this page if your route should in the future look 'broken'. See Missouri Route 5 for a working example, as well.
