This infobox is maintained by Anime and manga WikiProject. It is designed to layout the details for an anime convention in a consistent manner.

[edit] Parameters

  • convention_name: Contains the base name of the convention. Do not include numbers or years.
  • logo (optional): The filename of an uploaded image of the convention's logo.
  • status (optional): Use either "Active" or "Inactive." You may also use "N/A" if it is indeterminable.
  • ja_name (optional): Japanese text in UTF-8 for use with conventions that have Japanese names.
  • ja_name_trans (optional): Translation of Japanese text or romanization.
  • size (optional): Specifies the size of the logo. The default is 280px.
  • caption (optional): Caption for the logo. The default is no caption.
  • venue (optional): Current location where it is held. (Ex: Simon Fraser University)
  • location: City/town where it is held. (Ex: New York, New York)
  • country (optional): Country where the convention takes place (Ex: United Kingdom).
  • years: The first year of the convention to the last year of the convention. If the convention is still active, present can be substituted for the last year. Examples: 1995 to 2000, 1999 to present.
  • organizer (optional): The group or groups that currently organize the convention. This list should not include sponsors.
  • attendance (optional): An estimate of the paid attendees at the last convention. A multi-day pass should count as only one attendee. Do not use projected attendance of a future convention.
  • events (optional): A short list of general events that the convention will present. Expectable events that can be listed include video rooms, dealers' room, art room, artist alley, auctions, video game room, karaoke, panels, workshops, game shows, rave/dance, concert, cosplay/masquerade contest, collectible card games, CCG tournaments, roleplaying games, LARP, and anime music videos, AMV contests. Events should be separated by commas and contain no wikilinks.
  • website (optional): The URL of the convention's official website.
