[edit] Possible link to Necromancy?

Perhaps this thing is related or even another form of necromancy found in other RPGs i.e. Diablo. Is it worth mentioning? Furthermore, does it even have a spell name to proliferate the mentioned action (i.e. of creating/summoning an actuall inferi)?
