Information pyramid

The information pyramid is used to describe the relationship among different information-oriented terms.

It can be referred to numerous very different conceptualizations of information using many different criteria.

Harlan Cleveland's 1982 World Future Society article in The Futurist about DIKW became a cornerstone for understanding the emerging knowledge management disciplines.
