[edit] History

Inetz was incorporated in March of 1997, and is one of the oldest companies in the Intermountain West with a strict focus on Web applications. The co-founders (and triplet siblings) Tom, Jon, and Josie Gay, along with JT Holt envisioned a company that would become a leader in the development of custom Web applications. With the Internet still quite young (in the public's eye) in early 1997, the need for capable Web development firms was obvious, with many organizations attempting to stake their claims in this largely untapped (and very elusive) market.

Over the years, Inetz has built their business model around the idea that the only real way to maintain profitability, and thus realize the capacity to serve their clients for long term, is to fight through the ocean of difficulty in building a Web development company that is very much organized like a law or accounting firm. Inetz came to the realization that the ambiguity in Web development did not allow for project based billing (if one intended to maintain profitibility), but rather an hourly billing arrangement that invited flexibility during project development. This made it possible for their clients to build upon their vision of the application through all phases of project development without having their hands tied with a fixed number of hours that they could draw upon.

[edit] Philosophy

It has proven very difficult to acquire new clients willing to adopt the idea that Web development does not represent the creation of a finite product, but rather a growing entity with the limit being only the imagination. That said, Inetz is very selective when establishing new relationships with organization desiring to use their services. New clients are only taken on if it is clear that their vision coincides with the vision that Inetz has of what will make their mutual relationship successful.
