Ines Vargas is a fictional character in the American soap opera The Young and the Restless, played by actress Marisa Ramirez.

In early 2007, Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) was stalked by someone she believed to be her late nemesis, Carmen Mesta (Marisa Ramirez). When Dru began to see Carmen, she became paranoid, and tried to convince her husband Neil (Kristoff St. John) that Carmen was still alive and that she and David Chow (Vincent Irizarry) were trying to frame her for murder. However, no one believed her. When Dru accidentally hurt her daughter Lily (Christel Khalil) in a rage, her family had her committed to a psychiatric hospital. Not long after, Neil stumbled across David talking to a woman who was Carmen's exact double. When Neil demanded to know who she was, David explained that she was Carmen's cousin Ines, and lied that they had only just met. It was revealed that for the past few weeks, David had been paying Ines to stalk Dru, who David blamed for Carmen's death.
