{{unblock|Photos uploaded by me were created by me and released to Public Domain or GDFL (and tagged as such). Ones not taken by me were either tagged as Fair use or otherwise legitimately designated. I was never warned about this, I was simply blindsided with an unfair and indefinite blocking of my account. I have been taking original photos that have been published in books and newspapers for over 30 years. My website has examples of hundreds of photos I have taken, some of which are disputed here on Wikipedia as being alleged copyright violations. See JosephSheppard.net [http://www.josephsheppard.net] to view my gallery of original photos taken all over the world. Many of these photos were deleted here for no good reason, since they were released with proper tags releasing them to public domain or GDFL! The Administrator who performed this act was quick to block me with no due process, however, still has not responded to my email inquiry trying to resolve this problem. I have been a regular contributor to Wikipedia, originating articles and contributing to others. This sort of abuse of administrative power is neither warranted nor appreciated. Please stand by as I contact the blocking admin. I'd appreciate it if they could comment on why they think your uploads were copyvios, and why an indef block was appropriate at that stage. Sandstein 10:03, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
I mistook the second image you uploaded for the same one that you uploaded previously, and had been warned about, [1]. I have unblocked you, restored the deleted images, and replaced them in their articles. Note that the copyright of images you took on behalf of the school may be held by the school and therefore the school would need to license them appropriately. I am sorry. —Centrx→talk • 15:37, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Centrx Thank you for fixing this. I understand what happened, and appreciate having my access and photos restored. Indian Joe 15:44, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
