Basically, the two articles deal with the same subject.And the article Indian Botanical Gardens had the right official name.And also the article to merge into has more information.--Dwaipayanc 14:03, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

They are on exactly the same subject and it is true that the official name indeed ends with 'Gardens' and not 'Garden'.--Iball 10:29, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
