Industrial Building Apartments

The Industrial Building Apartments is a high-rise apartment building located at 1410 Washington Boulevard, standing at the corner of Washington Blvd. and West Grand River Avenue in downtown Detroit, Michigan, United States. Constructed in the years 1926 to 1928, it has one basement floor and 21 above-ground floors.

The residential building was designed with an interesting mixture of art deco and art moderne architectural designs. The roof has a very intricate design of limestone cornices. It has arched windows, reminescent of the art deco style of architecture.

  • A fire struck the building in February 2003, temporarily displacing over 100 residents.
