Indus Air

Indus Air is a regional domestic low-cost airline based in New Delhi, India. Its main base is Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

The management of Indus Airways Pvt Ltd will be vested with Board of Directors and experienced team of technical expert and professionals.
In October 2005 it was reported that "liquor baron" Kapil Mohan, of Mohan Meakins, along with other Indian businessmen, had invested in Indus Airways. They had plans to start services by the end of October 2005 using two Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft leased from Lufthansa. These two CRJ-200LRs are ex Independence Air aircraft from the USA, N643BR and N644BR. Three more CRJ aircraft were expected by December and a fleet of 10 aircraft was planned, including three Boeing 737-800s and two Bombardier CRJ-700s .
Indus Air launched its services on 14 December 2006.
