The Magwayen Creative Scholars’ Guild play production completing the Bidasari trilogy which started in 1998. After “Ang Prinsipe ng Marulaya” in 2005, Indrapura is said to be Magwayen’s most ambitious play. It had just finished its last playdate on December 9.
The story revolves around the princesses of the sultanate, princess Lilagretha, and princess Lilasari. Lilagretha soon finds out the dark secret of the family. She turns to the darkside after being lured by Tarsila to get revenge. After Tarsila was killed, she acquired her powers and cast a spell to kill the people she used to love. But Lilasari and Elindro (Lilagretha’s former lover) luckily escaped to the forest of Karbesas. Lilagretha became the Sultaness of Indrapura but all of her family is gone.

Indrapura has been well loved because of its cast of talented members. They are mostly made up of new members that went into rigorous training ang practice.
Lilagretha
The princess of Indrapura with a secret affair with Elindro, the architect of the city. She is ambitious and persistent to get the throne of the sultanate. After knowing the secret of the family from Tarsila, she returned to get revenge. Played by Alyssa Paula Tomas.
Lilasari
The princess of Indrapura that came back from her education in Karbesas. She does not know her true indentity and eventually fell in love with elindro and became the mother of Bidasari. She escaped with Elindro to avoid the death penalty in exchange for Lilagrteha who tried to assassinate her. Played by Anna Teresa Tan.
Sulayman
The sultan of Indrapurra, he acquired his position from his brother Indararpatra after his death. One called the lion of Marulaya because of his bravery. She was killed by Soraya who is under lilagretha’s spell. Played by Byron Joseph Barinuevo.
Soraya
The wife of Sulayman, willing to give her life for the salvation of Lilagretha. She killed herself after killing Sulayman while under Lilagretha’s spell. Played by Sheen Flor Tmayo and Jesriel Diaz.
Anya
The bubbly minister of Indrapura. He has close ties with lilagretha but after her transistion, she became cold to his care. Lilagretha killed him after he found thet soraya is committing suicide. Played by Ronald Decena
Elindro
The celebrated architect of the temple at the hill of cries. Lilagretha’s lover but became confused when Lilasari came. Eventually he became Lilasari’s fiancé and became the father of Bidasari after they escaped the sentence of death for Lilasari in exchange for Lilagretha’s punishment. Played by Michael Cayetano
Irinea
she led the rebellion against Sulayman and pursued that her daughter should be in place of her father, the former sultan Inadarapatra. She was killed by Sulayman and vowed to raise her child as his own. The child’s name was Blesilda, which is Lilasari. Played by Jesriel Diaz and Sheena Flor Tamayo.
Zervira
-the young lively vendor that sold an enchanted necklace to Elindro for Lilasari. Played By Mario Adriano.
Rajavari & Andravari
-the wisemen of the sultanate that sees the grim prophesy that awaits the sulatan. Played by Marvin Avila and John Paul Velasco respectively.
