LIMA is an association of record labels and fm radios in Indonesia. LIMA is the acronym of Lembaga Industri Musik Indonesia. Made in 1975, Its first work is to publish songs from record labels to radios. The first fm radio to join is Prambors Radio. It's notable for the first time songs are published to publicity in Indonesia. Until 1986, The association decided to make the official charts for albums and songs in Indonesia. First appeared in Gadis Magazine on May, 1986. The first #1 song is "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" by Whitney Houston and The first #1 album is "Koes Ploes" by Koes Ploes. In 2007, There are 15 record labels and 28 fm radios joined LIMA Association. Charts are compiled every Saturday. The current #1 song is "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" by Fall Out Boy and current #1 album is "MINDNSOUL" by Melly Goeslaw.
