The Indo-Pak Confederation was a proposed political confederation first proposed by Indian Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani in early 2004. Advani's comments provoked a response by a high ranking Pakistan Diplomat (see 'Indian Deputy Prime Minister's and Pakistan Diplomat's Opinion on Indo-Pak Union' [1]).
