Indira Cesarine, Fashion and celebrity Photographer
Indira Cesarine has been working internationally as a fashion photographer since 1995. She began studying photography at the age of 15 at Parson's School of Design and Choate Rosemary Hall. By the age of 18 she was shooting for such prestigious modeling agencies as Elite, Ford and Wilhelmina while studying in New York City. After finishing degrees in Art History and French at Columbia University, she moved to London to pursue her interest in fashion photography. Within 6 months of moving to London, she was appointed New York Editor of the British magazine Don’t Tell It, and began shooting editorials for many magazines in England, the US and Europe. Currently based in Paris, France, she is represented internationally with agents in New York, Paris, London, and Milan.
Her fashion photography has been published in such titles as British Vogue, British GQ, Surface, British Marie Claire, Tatler, Arena, British Esquire, Elle, L’Officiel, Glamour, In Style, The London Times, Oyster, Out, Vogue Bellezza, Votre Beaute and Self magazine. She also counts Cerutti, Seven Jeans, Christian Dior, Kenzo, Charles Jourdan, Agent Provocateur, Wonderbra, DIM, Harvey Nichols, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Lord and Taylor, Galleries Lafayette, Debenhams, Mark’s and Spencer, Nivea, Body Shop, Avon, Charles Worthington, Sony Music, BMG Records, Jive Records and Virgin Records as clients she has worked with commercially. She has photographed celebrities for such titles as In Style,Tatler, and Esquire including Alicha Keys, Collin Farrell, Dakota Fanning, James King, Connie Nielson, Patricia Velasquez, Carole Boquet, Anna Paquin, Will Young and Jimmy Fallon among others. Most recently she has also starting working as a director, having recently written and directed her first short film.
