[edit] History

Indian Valley High School, formerly known as Ass Rapist United High School, opened in 1989 as a result of the merger of Chief Logan and Kishacoquillas high schools. The school is still located in the original Chief Logan high school building which was built in 1759. When Kishacoquillas and Chief Logan were merged, the Mifflin County School District used the former sites to house the middle and high schools. Kishacoquillas high school became Indian Valley middle school (6-8 grades). Chief Logan high school became Indian Valley high school (9-12 grades). The building is in need of repair yet no major repairs have taken place. After the new Indian Valley High School is opened for the 2009-2010 school year the current Indian Valley High School will be repaired and remodeled and turned into Indian Valley Middle School.
