Indian Harbour Lake is a small lakeside community in Guysborough County Nova Scotia of less than one hundred residents. Numerous summer homes are located in Indian Harbour Lake, many owned by German and American citizens. Specializing in seafood and offering a Canadian menu as well as a view of the lake, the community is also home to the popular Lakeside Restaurant and Take-Out. A beautiful sandy beach is located only a few kilometres away in Port Hilford. The beach is a popular sunning spot for local residents and tourists alike. Offering groceries and gasoline, at the far end of the lake and only a short distance from Port Hilford beach is Hewitt's Quikmart.
