Indian Creek (Cobbs Creek)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Indian Creek is a tributary of Cobbs Creek in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania in the United States.
Indian Creek has two branches in Wynnewood, Montgomery County. One flows through the neighborhood of Penn Wynne and the other near Greenhill Condominiums. After flowing across City Line Avenue (U.S. Route 1) into Philadelphia, they meet in the woods of Morris Park behind Overbrook Park. They then travel underground after crossing under Lansdowne Avenue. Indian Creek reemerges from underground after crossing under Haverford Avenue. It then flows through the Cobbs Creek Golf Course where it eventually flows into Cobbs Creek near the 69th Street Terminal, on the Upper Darby, Delaware County side of the banks of Cobbs Creek.
