Deepak Chopra's India Authentic (also known as Deepak Chopra Presents INDIA AUTHENTIC) is a series of one-shot comic books from Virgin Comics which retell the iconic myths and legends of India for a global audience created by Deepak Chopra who presents the foreword for each issue.

The series is the creation of Deepak Chopra and is written by Saurav Mohapatra. This features art by many of Virgin Comics' leading artists like Jeevan Kang (The Sadhu, Seven Brothers, Spider-Man: India), Abhishek Singh (Ramayan 3392 A.D.) and many more.

Synopsis

Synopsis

In India Authentic: Kaali when Rakta Veej, the Blood Demon and his seemingly unstoppable horde seize the City of the Gods, the Gods themselves invoke the dormant vampiric Goddess to battle Rakta Veej. The only question remains, will Kaali’s destructive forces be limited to the battlefield, or will she turn on the Gods themselves?
