There were several independent candidates in the 1988 Manitoba provincial election, none of whom were elected. Information about these candidates may be found on this page.

[edit] Michael Kibzey (Burrows)

Kibzey received 129 votes (1.75%), finishing fourth against Liberal candidate Bill Chornopyski.

On 9 October 1997, the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper reported the death of Michael Ambrose Kibzey, age 76. This may have been the same person.[1]
