Independent Operational Group Polesie

Independent Operational Group Polesie (Samodzielna Grupa Operacyjna Polesie, SGO Polesie) was one of the Polish Army Corps that defended Poland during the Invasion of Poland in 1939. It was created on September 11, 1939 and was commanded by general Franciszek Kleeberg.
It took part in several battles, among them in the Battle of Kock, the last battle of the Invasion of Poland.
