[edit] Camp CoBeAc

Camp CoBeAc was purchased by the CBA in 1959. The ownership of Camp CoBeAc was transferred to the IFBAM ca. 1979. The camp continues to be an arm of the IFBAM; the association's board of directors has control over all financial and planning matters, while a camp director serves as the functional head on the campsite. From its inception, this position was held by Harry Love and later by his son Mark. In 2002, the IFBAM board of directors asked Jeff Kahl, then camp director at Northland Camp and Conference Center, to the become the Camp Director. He accepted and has led the camp ever since then. The camp is situated on 619 acres two miles south of Houghton Lake. CoBeAc offers various programs including teen camps, junior camps, couples retreats, and winter retreats.
