Independence High School (Tennessee)

Independence High School is a 9-12 high school in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, established in 2004. Enrollment was some 1160 students in 2005. Principal, Dr. Webb, has been the principal of Independence since it's opening in 2004; Vice Principal Lecrone has been there equally as long.

Indedependence High School is part of the Williamson Country School district.

On March 6, 2007 - rightly named Bomb Threat '07 - a fake bomb threat was issued and the school was kept out for two hours.

Jorey O'Dell, the bomb threat culprit, was arrested and sent to the Williamson County Alternative Learning Center and fined $85,000 . He was kept in juvenille detention until March 15, 2007.

The first graduating class of Independence will graduate on May 26, 2007.
