Indautxu

Indautxu is a "barrio" (area) of central Bilbao located between the barrios of San Mamés and Abando. It is centred on Plaza Indautxu, a large, newly reformed square under which there is a small shopping centre and a station for Metro Bilbao.

The barrio is considered affluent, and is most famous for the large number of (private) hospitals and clinics located in the zone.

Its football team plays in SD Indautxu.
