This is 2006? Did the creators of this index think they're living in 1966? China, "Mostly Unfree"? I'm interested in knowing what they were smoking when they made this. Or which rock they crawled out from. -- Миборовский U|T|C|M|E|Chugoku Banzai! 23:58, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

This list doesn't seem right with many countries. For example, how can anyone say Sweden is one of the most free when it comes to economic freedom? Sweden is in many ways more of a socialist country. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zachorious (talkcontribs).

UH... what is the definition of "economic freedom"? Do we have any sources that back up this information? -- The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake {Prophesize) 21:10, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

You could just read the FAQ at the source page. Shimgray | talk | 16:02, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I did, and I still think it falls under POV. It seems to be western centric and the company that did the research just happened to be located in Washington D.C., and their mission statment (?) says "The Heritage Foundation is committed to building an America where freedom, opportunity, prosperity and civil society flourish."
