This image is a copy of the official state seal of the State of Indiana. Under Indiana law, it is therefore the intellectual property of the state of Indiana, and is further a part of the public records of that state. Indiana public records may be copied without limitation and used for any purpose. The State of Indiana retains copyright but has explicitly waived all restrictions on copying. See Indiana Code 5-14-3 generally. Because Indiana has released all copyright interest in this image, the use of the {{seal}} boilerplate licensing statement is not appropriate for this image.
