Category talk:Indian-White

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is just a more specific recreation of Category:AWMTOWM, which has been deleted a number of times. The title is terrible, also.--Cúchullain t/c 21:55, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

The template though, is not a recreation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lossser (talkcontribs).

Why is this up for deletion?

I explained it above. It's a recreation of a previously deleted category.--Cúchullain t/c 22:24, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Why was that deleted? User:Lossser

Because it wasn't a useful category. Here's the discussion: Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 July 8#Category:AWMTOWM --Cúchullain t/c 22:32, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Creating a special category for women of Indian descent married to White men seems arbitrary, unencyclopedic, and offers a fairly useless access point for readers. To the best of my knowledge, no other group receives such special treatment on Wikipedia. --Anirvan 23:37, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Completely unencyclopedic, sexist, and somewhat racist category. I endorse deletion. --Ragib 21:42, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Clearly recreation of deleted content. Deleted. Guettarda 22:31, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
