I'm an experienced Wikipedian (I'm an administrator of the German Star Wars Wikipedia project Jedipedia and a Wookieepedian). Don't worry, I won't bother you with any Star Wars stuff, I'm content with contributing to both SW projects.

[edit] Why I'm here

Besides Star Wars, I'm a huge Marvel comics fan. I deserted to the English Wikipedia because comics (as well as other topics related to alternate universes) are somewhat neglected at the German Wikipedia, merged into single articles or even become deleted because of their "insignificancy" to the "real world". Minor characters don't even get their own articles.

I like "the comics improvement drive" at the English Wikipedia and how comics and their characters are treated here with full respect ;) This is why I decided to participate in the WikiProjectComics.

[edit] Favourite comics

I especially like Star Wars comics and Marvel comics (Prime Focus: X-Men and spin-offs). I also play Marvel videogames, watch films and play board games, so I'm somewhat experienced with the things mentioned in the comics' "other media" sections, too. We are currently playtesting the Marvel Heroes strategy boardgame by Fantasy Flight Games.
