List of The West Wing episodes

"Inauguration Over There" is episode 80 of The West Wing.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

[edit] Plot

Will Bailey's work on the inaugural address makes quite an impression (as does the foreign-policy doctrine it espouses), and Danny Concannon's reporting makes quite a splash. Meanwhile, Charlie's luck in finding a Bible for Bartlet's swearing-in isn't improving.

[edit] Trivia

At the beginning of this episode, Will paraphrases a speech given by Toby in the first season episode "He Shall, from Time to Time" where Toby was arguing against using the phrase "the era of big government is over" in that year's State of the Union. Toby replies to Will by saying "there were maybe four people in the room when I said that." In fact, only the President and Josh were present when he said that (although, as Will suggests, presumably Josh told many, many people).
