Inaja Palm (American oil palm, Cucurite palm, Kokerit-palm in Guyana, Maripa palm; syn. Attalea venatorum (Poepp. ex Mart.) Mart., Attalea venatorum (Poeppig ex C.Martius) C. Wendland ex Kerch, Palma maripa Aubl.) is a palm native to Amazon Rainforest. This plant has a yellow edible fruit which is oblong ovoid and cream. It grows up 30 m high and can have leaves or fronds 10-12 m long and has a large inflorescense which is interfoliar.
