[edit] "In The News" theme song

In The News had a great synthesized theme song. A sample is available here[1]. Who is the composer/musician? Is there a voiceover-free copy of it available anywhere? --RevWaldo 20:20, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Glenn's "In The News" Tenure

The article mentions that Christopher Glenn narrated the pieces until 1978, and then Gary Shepard took over until the end of its run. Christopher Glenn is the one name I remember from In the News, and while Gary Shepard might have done some of them, Glenn seems to have continued narrating them past 1978. Two from the 1980s are on YouTube.com and both are narrated by Glenn. --Ted.

[edit] original title?

I remember watching the first segments on Saturday mornings in 1971. In my memory, it was first entitled "In the Know" for a short time before changing to "In the News." If my memory's accurate, the article should reflect this name change. JimmyTheSaint 07:13, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
