Why is Michael Collins, the third man in the module, not mentioned in the speech? Knaw 00:39, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Because Michael Collins was up in the command module, orbiting the Moon. This speech was drafted in the event that the lunar module was unable to lift off the Moon, in which case Michael Collins would have returned to Earth alone. —Cleared as filed. 04:01, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
