In the Beginning is a bootleg album of an early AC/DC gig. This is the only known live recording of AC/DC with original lead vocalist, Dave Evans. It surfaced sometime in late 2005/early 2006. It is an audience recording taken from Dave Evans' personal tapes. While the songs performed are mostly covers from artists such as Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones and Free it does include some original AC/DC material most of which was later recorded with Bon Scott. The album was originally released in two parts and limited to 200 copies each. It has, however, surfaced on the download circuit and can often be found burned on CD-Rs.
