[edit] Plot summary
In Bruges is the darkly comedic tale of the fates of hit men Ray and Ken (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson). After a difficult job in London, where a child was killed during an attack on a Catholic priest, the team is ordered by their boss Harry (Ralph Fiennes) to cool their heels in Bruges. Very much out of their comfort zones, the men find themselves drawn into increasingly dangerous entanglements with locals, tourists, and a film shoot. Soon, their perspectives on life and death are violently skewed. Ray starts to feel remorse over the death of the child, and also meets Chloë (Clémence Poésy), a girl working on the film. Ray's interest in Chloë isn't to the liking of her ex-boyfriend Erik (Jérémie Renier). Ken gets asked to murder his companion.
