What is the IMF. An Independent Agency or a Black Ops Division of the CIA? Leader Vladimir 1 June 2006

In the original 1960s version the opening tape concluded with the phrase (paraphrased) "if you fail, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your existence." Assuming the IMF is an American-operated agency (very likely) that would rule out the CIA. The CIA is not run by a Cabinet-level official. I am watching the DVD of the first season, and it is definitely Impossible Missions Force, not Mission, so have changed the article title accordingly. 23skidoo 02:35, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
