[edit] Wolf Pack

Does anyone have a full reference for the Wolf Pack novel mentioned in the "Notes" section? Black Library don't seem to know anything about it. Cheers --Pak21 13:17, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

If I recall, Wolfpack is a short story in the BFG rulebook, or maybe one of the supliments or WD. I remember reading it, but not where. --Falcorian (talk) 16:19, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
I didn't see it in a quick look over of the PDF rulebook. Not sure where it is. I think it might be in Warp Storm... --Falcorian (talk) 16:28, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Battleship size.

Now just believe it. The upper size for imperial battlehips is 8 kilometers. It has been said on Games Workshop's Most Official Website.

Yeah, 7-8km is about right. --Falcorian (talk) 05:31, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Guardsmen aboard Battleships

There are a few references in the text to Imperial Vessels conatining contigents of Imperial Guardsmen to defend against boarding. Although the Navy obviously ships the Guard around, they don't actually have Guardsmen integrated into their crew (don't forget the division of labour in the Imperium). Instead they have Armsmen - Soldiers approximately equivalent to Guardsmen, but under Navy Control and specialised in shipboard combat (in the real world they would be called Marines, but in 40K that nomenclature has already been taken... ;-)). These guys are emphatically not part of the Imperial Guard, so if no onw has an objections I intend to go through the article and change any applicable references to Guard to "Armsmen." 84.92.80.169 10:47, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

No problem as such, but please cite the source to which you are referring for this change. Cheers --Pak21 11:01, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay. I'll need to have a dig round in my reference materials for proper citations, but that shouldn't be a problem. Incidentally, perhaps some mention should be made that one of the Navy's sworn duties is to ship the Imperial Guard wherever they need to go... Getztashida 14:12, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
