Imeľ is a village and municipality in the Komarno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1404.

The village lies at an altitude of 111 metres and covers an area of 21.96 km². It has a population of about 2150 people.

The village is about 47% Magyar, 53% Slovak.

The village has a public library, a gym and a football pitch. It also has a cinema.
