Template talk:Image-Class
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I wish to request that this template be changed to the following:
-
-
-
- style="background: #ddccff; text-align: center;" | '''{{#if:{{{category|}}}|[[:{{{category}}}|Image]]|[[:Category:Image-Class articles|Image]]}}'''
-
-
This would bring the general syntax in line with other rating templates (eg {{A-Class}} etc.), and would also make the colour more distinct (see comparisions below). I'd like to point I created the colour scheme used for the importance templates and the current scheme used on the quality templates. (See the diffs between my last edit and the current version.) - I disagree; I think that the image should have a color, as it's not a rating like the other things. —METS501 (talk) 21:26, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm assuming you meant "the image should not have a colour"... the problem I was addressing is that current colour is indistinguishable from that used on {{Low-Class}} (see bottom of the table underneath), hence my proposed change to a colour that is distinct from the rating colours. Tompw, in your request above and at Template talk:List-Class, your colors seem to be reversed compared to what you wrote in the table below. —Quarl (talk) 2007-03-10 10:51Z
- Whoops! Well spotted. I've corrected it now (the tables were correct) Tompw (talk) 11:00, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
OK, I made the change, though I'm not sure this template is even necessary if it says what I think it says: "this image is an image". —Quarl (talk) 2007-03-10 11:39Z
