I removed your link to the Volapük Yahoo group from the article on Johann Martin Schleyer; it was already linked from the main Volapük article, and did not seem relevant in the Schleyer article. --Jim Henry 17:13, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Urquhart
Uh-oh! I've been working on an entry on Thomas Urquhart on and off for the couple weeks. I was just about done and I saw that you just put one up the very same day! The one I've got is a little bit more detailed--would you feel bad if I replaced yours with mine? Also, is there something I should do to avoid this sort of collision in the future? I guess I should have put a note on the talk page saying that I was working on a new entry, but I thought, "What are the odds that somebody else is going to write about Thomas Urquhart in the next few days"? I went ahead and changed it. Let me know if there's a problem. PRiis 20:19, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Presentation
Hi, I understood you have been inspiring yourself of my presentation for your meeting. If so, I am glad.
I wanted to ask you if you could share your additional information (such as charts, stats, screen shots and so, so that might improve my next personal presentation. Is it possible ? SweetLittleFluffyThing 13:35, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, thanks so much for the source material for presenting to a large group. I have another presentation tomorrow for the Christa McAuliffe Center Conference where I'll be talking about Wikipedia and MediaWiki running on Linspire/Debian Linux. I have some charts that compare WP to Britannica and Grolliers online visits and page hits etc. I'll be glad to put those online also... ilvi 19:48, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Esperando
I was creating a page on your language Esperando, and I was wondering if I could 'interview' you (via chat or e-mail) in order to fill out the article.

[edit] Le Imperio Roman
Salve!
Greetings, ILVI. I noticed your message about the Keene wikicity this morning, looked up your "ia:" page, was suitably impressed, and had no further reason to think about you - sorry! - until lunch-time, when one of life's coincidences happened. My workmate lent me a copy of a book of poetry, particularly so that I could reread "Horatius", by Englishman Lord Macaulay (1800-1859). With your apparent dislike of the Imperio roman, and your two native languages not including English, you may not have got as far as even seeing that poem, which is about the defence of Rome against the Etruscans. One name jumped out at me, though maybe it should not have. "Ilva" reminded me of your name, but I see it's not quite the same.
What's the origin of your login name? And could it be related to
- "... Seius, whose eight hundred slaves
- "Sicken in Ilva's mines"?

[edit] request
Hello! I`ve got one request for you. I collect words in various languages. Now I`m looking for word "sugar" in other languages, but I can`t find an Andalusian dictionary. I`ve got counterparts of word "sugar" in Japanese, Ahmaric, Thai, Georgian and Chinese, so can you write me what is "sugar" in Andalusian Spanish language? I`ve got this word in 264 languages and dialects of many regions and countries in the world so it is very important for me! Thank you very much! Szoltys
[edit] Trust in Wikipedia
this is Cathy from Hong Kong working on a research about trust on Wikipedia. I wonder if you would kindly contact me at researchingmedia@gmail.com? I'd like to chat with you about Wikipedia of your language. Would you kindly drop me your email or IM (Skype, MSN, AIM or ICQ)? It wouldn't take more than ten minutes, but it would help enormously for us to understand the overall trust-based social landscape of Wikipedia. Thank you!
[edit] Proposed Deletions
I have placed a proposed deletion of Barry Stephen Nieuport on the grounds that vanity press authors do not belong in Wikipedia. Avt tor 05:46, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have also placed a proposed deletion of The Gorrideon on the grounds that vanity press books are not noteworthy according to usual Wikipedia standards. If you object, please add sources to explain the notability of the book, or else it would be necessary to submit a formal Articles for Deletion request. Avt tor 05:52, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
