Illiana

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Illiana is the region around the Illinois-Indiana state line. It comprises the eastern edge of the state of Illinois and the western edge of the state of Indiana, and stretches from the south shore of Lake Michigan, in the Chicago area, south to the mouth of the Wabash River, the southernmost point of Indiana.

The term also applies specifically to Illiana, Illinois, which is the name given to that part of the Indiana town of State Line that protrudes west across the border into Illinois.
