Iljaz Prokshi (Serbian: Иљаз Прокши), (born in 1949 in the village of Vërbovc, Kosovo, then part of Yugoslavia) is an ethnic Albanian writer and poet of many books from Kosovo. He studied Albanian language and literature in the University of Priština. Prokshi is mainly known for his masterpiece, the novel Fundi I Zemerimit (The End of Disgruntlement), the bestseller and winner of The Book of the Year prize. Prokshi currently lives and works in Priština.
