Ila is the wife of Commander Adama in Battlestar Galactica. She was an off-screen character, never seen, though referred to several times through the course of the series, and a painting of her was briefly shown in the pilot episode.

Ila was killed, when the Cylons raided Caprica during the Peace Conference ambush. She is the mother to Captain Apollo, Lieutenant Zac and Lieutenant Athena.

Ila has two analogues on the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, Caroline Adama, mother to William Adama's children, and Anne Adama, current wife of William at the time of the Cylon attack.
