About me

I am a biochemical engineer in a US government lab. I am interested in the processing and modification of agricultural commodities, particular the protein portion of these commodities. My current reseach is in the non-food/feed utilization of meat and bone meal, which is a by-product of the rendering industry.

I am also interested in wide variety useless topics, which is why I feel so at home with Wikipedia.

I am an alumnus of UC Davis, Cornell University and the University of Arizona. My real name isn't Ike; Ike is my kitty-cat.

I've been a slow, steady contributor since 6/23/03. I'm primarily an exopedian. I'm a member of the harmonious editing club. Don't be a dick; be cool, play nice and learn from your fellow editors.

My new economic philosophy is Ordoliberalism.
