From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Igor the Assassin is the code-name for a former KGB assassin believed to have been the murderer of Alexander Litvinenko. He is said[attribution needed] to be a former Spetznaz officer born in 1960 who is a Judo master and walks with a slight limp. He speaks perfect English and Portuguese. He may be the same person who served Litvinenko tea in a London hotel room prior to his death.
