Ignite Studios is an Australian media consultancy firm, holding a dominant position in the northern suburbs of Adelaide for graphic design, voice-over-IP telecommunications (under the Ignite Digital brandname), business consultancy, photography, and information technology. It produces, develops, and engineers an enormous range of products and services, specialising in multimedia, photography, computer sales, business data services, financial services (investment and loan brokering), and business consultancy. It incorporates many brands and sub-level services underneath the Ignite Studios name including Hivemind Webhosting, Ignite Digital, Ignite Finance, and Andromeda.^[1]

In late 2005, failed musician turned irrigation labourer Dylan "skidmarks" Skinner almost led the company into liquidation by making uneducated investment decisions and attempting to siphon funds. He was discharged from Ignite Studios on the 10th of December, and the company then regained financial stability by establishing marketing contracts with two large companies in Adelaide^[2].

In January 2007, Ignite Studios started development of a new commercial studio to be constructed on the high traffic area of John Street, in Adelaide suburb Salisbury's business/commercial district. The new studio is set to revolutonise the northern suburbs' media and business industries as the area has never seen anything remotely similar, albeit the constant growing demand. The studio is set to be finished by May 2007.^[3]

Brands and services owned by Ignite Studios include Hivemind Webhosting (webhosting and domain services), Ignite Digital (voice-over-IP and business data services), Ignite Financial (investment and loan brokering), Andromeda (health, beauty, and fashion supply), and The Phoenix Foundation (charity, yet to be announced).

Hivemind Webhosting is a high performance webhosting service owned and operated by Ignite Studios. Ignite Studios originally housed the webhosting services under the Ignite Studios brand but as of January 2007 segregated it to form it's own unique brand. Hivemind Webhosting offers four different levels of webhosting plans, as well as high-security dedicated hosting service. Hivemind's prices for hosting and domain registration are among the cheapest in the country.

Hivemind Webhosting quickly gained popularity and credibility through mass advertising in downtown Adelaide in late 2006.

Ignite Digital is the branded voice-over-ip service offered by Ignite Studios. Other services encompassed by the Ignite Digital brandname are business data services including corporate networking and IT management, server management, communications management, and IT support services. The Ignite Digital VoIP network went live in January 2006 to the consumer market after heavy testing in December 2006.

Ignite Studios is a nominee for the 2007 Telstra Business Awards. The Telstra Business Awards program was introduced by Telstra in 1992 to recognise the achievements and enterprising spirit of small businesses across Australia. Formerly known as the Telstra Small Business Awards, the program was developed to help profile Australian businesses^[4]
