Tests
Hello
Thank you for experimenting with the page Paris Hilton on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --Yamla 21:23, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Coleen McLoughlin. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Yamla 21:24, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:300 preciousprofile.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:300 preciousprofile.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 21:28, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Please cite
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Thandie Newton, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! --Yamla 22:14, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
You need help?
What seems to be the problem? - Che Nuevara 23:05, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Blanking talkpage
Please refrain from blanking your tlak page. You have uploaded images with unspecified sources and been made aware of it. If you blank your talk page, fellow editors will inform you again and again that you have uploaded an image with no source information. If you blank your talk page, they will not be aware that you have already been informed what was wrong with the picture you have uploaded. This also concerns warnings about vandalism. Best regards, --Plumcouch Talk2Me 23:29, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Huh?
You want me to have this crap on my Talk Page indefinitely?? I've read it already, why should I keep it?? This is all very weird and Police State-ish.
- A lot of users archive their talk pages. You can read about that here. - Che Nuevara 23:54, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Elechi Amadi
- So, Igbogirl, I'm having a hard time reconciling your nomination of the Elechi Amadi article for deletion with your username - though technically I suppose I'm jumping to conclusions that your username is a contraction of Igbo and girl <grin>. -- MarcoTolo 02:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Notability
You said: "Yamla, I notice that you have problems with a couple of my recent edits. In fact, I'm beginning to think you have some kind of personal problem with me. Firstly, I edited the Thandie Newton article to include the FACT that her mother is a princess. This does not come from my original research. It is a widely reported fact. I am happy to provide a citation, in fact citations are all over the internet and in pretty much every interview she has ever done. But why are you acting like this is some kind of obscure item that I made up? Also, regarding Precious Williams, this woman is one of the best known journalists in England - as I said in my edit, far more noteable than Baz Bamigboye and others you have chosen not to delete! The book that she contributed a short story IS on Amazon and if you had really done a search on Amazon, you would have seen it. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Sex-Sensibility-Romances-Lives-Single/dp/0743483030/sr=8-3/qid=1159311819/ref=sr_1_3/102-3202160-7576906?ie=UTF8&s=books And here is just one of the articles that cites Thandie being the daughter of a Zimbabwean Shona Princess http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2005/08/05/bfthandie05.xml"
- Oh, well that explains why I could not find the book. You claimed the book was published in 2004 while Amazon claims February 2005. Also, you claimed the book was called "Sex and Sensibility" when in fact it is called "Sex and Sensibility: 28 True Romances from the Lives of Single Women". Anyway, please see WP:V. It is your responsibility to ensure the information you add is verifiable and properly cited. I'm sure you are right about Thandie Newton but you did not cite your information which means you should not have added the information. I'm not saying you are making things up, only that you are not citing the things you are adding. Comparing these articles to others is irrelevant. I monitor less than 5000 pages out of well over a million pages on the Wikipedia. I have no idea if the article on Baz Bamigboye is worth keeping or not. I have not chosen not to delete that page. I have never been to that page. As to Precious Williams, you say she is one of the best known journalists in England. That's great! It will be very easy for you to find a reliable citation indicating that. With her notability properly asserted, that article will easily survive the AfD and the article will have been improved as a result. See Wikipedia:Notability (people). I'm not aware of her receiving multiple independent reviews and/or awards for her work and she does not seem to have made a lasting impact to the enduring historical record of journalism, but then I had never heard of her before. It is entirely likely that she has, or otherwise qualifies as particularly notable regardless. --Yamla 14:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Thandie Newton your AFD nominations and your contributions
- Igbogirl while I appreciate your contributions to the article Thandie Newton, you didn't cite the information you found correctly. I suggest you try reading Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:Citations quick reference, and Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style. I fixed the article, and keep in mind the article must be worded so that Newton "claims" her mother is a Zimbabwean Shona Princess. Therefore I worded it "According to Newton, her mother is a Zimbabwean Shona Princess."
- On another subject are your nominations for AFD. They seem to be in direct retaliation in regards to your article(s) that have been nominated for AFD which is evident here, here and finally here which was reverted because there is no valid reason to delete a well known English novelist. She even has seperate articles for her work such as The Bugatti Queen: In Search of a Motor-Racing Legend and is mentioned for her biography of Mary Shelley.
- Finally the creating of a category called "Chavs" and labeling Paris Hilton, Lady Sovereign and Coleen McLoughlin as one is just straight up vandalism. If you want help contributing, please ask for it, but don't go around vandalising. Thanks! Stubbleboy 16:22, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Notability
You said: "Can you provide some citations for us, confirming that Baz Bamigboye has "received multiple independent reviews of or awards." I have searched everywhere and could find none. I asked around, nobody I know has even heard of him apart from one journalist friend in England who says she once read an article he wrote for the Daily Mail and that it was "drivel". So, please provide citations. Ciao"
- Stop trolling. You are well aware that I had nothing to do with that article and you can see that I voted the article should be deleted. --Yamla 16:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm. I do now see that you have recommended its deletion - so I give you that. Initially I thought it was pretty rich that you would want to delete individuals who had at least made some artistic contribution and yet keep a person whose sole achievement was being a gossip columnist. Hmmmm.
Your edit to Precious Williams
Your recent edit to Precious Williams (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Precious Williams, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Also, please read WP:POINT. --Yamla 17:05, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
The 3AM Girls
You have not yet completed your nomination of The 3AM Girls for deletion. Would you like some help completing the nomination? Alternatively, the AfD will be closed shortly which I assume is not your intention. --Yamla 17:19, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
You said: "Yes, what else needs to be done to get this substandard page deleted?"
- If you take a look at Template:AfD footer, you can see that you missed the third step. You got the other two steps properly. --Yamla 17:23, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
I can understand why you nominated it in many ways, but I do not believe that the fact that poorly written and uninteresting/insignificant as you said in the edit history is a valid reason for a deletion nomination. Instead it is a valid reason to clean the article up and make a go of it. Addiitonally its notability was already asserted within the article. I've now cleaned it up, and it has the basis for a content expert to write a good article. So I am asking you to revisit it and to consider withdrawing your nomination, which you do on the AfD page by stating that you are withdrawing it (if you agree with me) Fiddle Faddle 20:16, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elechi Amadi
I have noticed when you closed the above AfD, you did not remove the category template, "REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD". By deleting this when closing it pulls the discussion out of the category. I have deleted it from this discussion, but if you could review any other closures you have done recently and remove the tag from them it would be greatly appreicated. This is a fairly recent change. The guideline is at WP:AFDC. I have been going through the listing in each of the categories CAT:AFD and removing the tag from pages that are closed and adding the approriate category code for those in the uncatagorised group. Thanks.--Gay Cdn (talk) (email) (Contr.) 00:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
S.A.S. (rap duo)
While I appreciate your contribution to this article here, you failed to give a citation for the line you added to the article therefore I deleted it. Also the article Precious Williams failed it's WP:AFD with a consensus of delete, therefore the line you inserted is not notable. Thanks! Stubbleboy 19:36, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
