[edit] The Basics

My name is Ian and I am an 19 year old student, currently attending Hampshire College. I am originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut.

[edit] The Past

I have been using Wikipedia for a few years (it came in very handy during my high school years). Just recently, I became increasingly interested in how Wikipedia operated. I always knew it was "open to editing" by anyone, but I never really understood how community-based it really was. I am very eager to contribute to the community in any way I can.

[edit] "Girls Want Guys With Skills"

I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and web design (but no expert). I also am very good at personal research, and have worked with multiple companies to perform personal investigations. I can perform a number of interesting searches, and can Skiptrace and Background check.

I am an entrepreneur, starting a party entertainment business when I was 12, and an import-export venture when I was 16. I stopped running my business in 2005 when I chose to focus on college.

In addition, I have worked as a camp counselor, a lifeguard, a baby-sitter, and a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant.

Texas hold 'em is a game that fascinates me. I play both online and in home games. I enjoy reading about all forms of gambling, and am well-versed in Blackjack (more specifically: card counting).

I have been juggling for over 8 years, and can juggle up to five balls, three clubs, and even knives and fire. I can also ride a unicycle.

[edit] The Future

My current interests center on philosophy. I am thinking about pursuing an advanced degree.

[edit] In Summation

I hope to use my research skills to contribute to the community service project that is Wikipedia.
