"If You Were with Me Now" is a pop–ballad song written by British songwriting team Stock and Waterman, Kylie Minogue and American pop-singer Keith Washington for Minogue's fourth studio album Let's Get to It (1991). The song was produced by Stock and Waterman and received a mixed reception from music critics. It was released as the second single in the fall of 1991 due to a favourable reaction from radio stations and reached number four in the United Kingdom and the top ten in Ireland and South Africa. The song is notable for being Minogue's first hit single to feature her as a co-writer. Prior to filming the music video, Minogue and Washington had not met as Washington recorded his vocals in the United States.
