If You Love This Planet is a 1982 short documentary film recording a lecture given to students by physician and nuclear critic Dr. Helen Caldicott about the dangers posed by nuclear weapons.
The film was labelled as "political propaganda" by the U.S. Justice Department. [1] However, this may have only helped to give the film added publicity, as it won the Academy Award for Documentary Short Subject. [2]
If You Love This Planet was directed by Terre Nash and produced by Edward Le Lorrain for the National Film Board of Canada.
